I have received a letter from Nat today. He was happy to read the comments I have sent into him. He has told me to say thank you to everyone for their support. I will add the messages he has sent to the posts on here.
Nat has said it is nice that people have taken time to read his website and this page.
If there are any questions, any of you have for Nat he will reply to you via this page.
He has taken part in a cycle run for Suicide Prevention Week. He managed 2 sets of 20 KM on an exercise bike He will get another few tries at this. Bet his legs are sore
Nearly 3000 people on average commit suicide daily, according to WHO. For every person who completes a suicide, 20 or more may attempt to end their lives.
It is a great cause to help raise attention for.
Suicide attempts are something that happens a lot in prisons.
There have been 121 deaths since 2012 but in 60 of those (and excluding this year’s toll) FAIs have still not been held.
In some cases families claim they warned prison staff that relatives were suicidal, but nothing was done.
Hopefully lessons will be learned and vulnerable people get the help they need when they are feeling there is no way out of their misery and pain.
With that I will leave you with replies from Nat to posts. Please feel free to send comments of support or questions and Nat will answer via this page.
